Found this statement from skyteam.com.... With NW entering Skyteam, does that mean they need to re-phrase the statement as we all know that NW doesn't provide IFE of any kind (except magazines) on board their domestic flights... Or would NW be forced to provide IFE ?

SkyTeam wants to make your experience a memorable one. No matter which partner airline you choose to fly. "Caring more about you" is what makes the SkyTeam difference.

On board our airlines you will always find a professional, friendly and cheerful atmosphere. On all long-haul flights you can communicate with the crew either in English or in the language of your flight's origin or destination.

SkyTeam partner airlines offer you a wide selection of meals to meet special medical, religious or dietary needs.
(Please contact your SkyTeam airline for more details)

SkyTeam also cares more about keeping you entertained while on board our flights. Monthly movie programming means that when you fly with SkyTeam, you won't have to watch the same film twice on any leg of your trip
- even if you travel roundtrip between destinations or on any combination of SkyTeam airlines.

Now, that's entertainment!

No, NW fits in perfectly. No IFE means indeed that "you won't have to watch the same film twice "

OK don't offer any IFE within Europe. And last time I took AF short haul they didn't have anything either.

The security demonstration doubles as LIVE entertainment, and the windows serve as full-motion virtual-reality viewers.
