If Delta shuts down PDX...?

this story in the Oregonian for the bad news on Delta's Portland "hub".

What does this mean for Skyteam? Is the Asian section getting weaker than ever? Or is there something in the works with another Asian airline, like Thai or JAL?

DL could open the HNL/NRT route with the same equipment.

How about ATL - Nagoya, F*****a and Osaka in addition to the Tokyo flight. Or from JFK?
