NYC to Tokyo
Hi,
I'm looking to book 3 tickets from NYC to Tokyo. I keep reading about different strategies for decent fares with points, but they never seem to work when I search.
Our window is March 21-April 4. We'll be two adults and one 8-year-old.
I've given up on business class, but I'd love to score some sort of good deal on PE with points. Ideally in skyteam, but not necessarily.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

What kind of "points" do you have?
Edited to add: And is this just for one-way travel during the time frame you listed, or for roundtrip travel? If the latter, what is the acceptable date range for the outbound, and how long do you want to stay in TYO?
