To Book or Not to Book...
Can't help but keep looking at flights even in these uncertain times. Before all this started we were planning a trip to Chile for Jan or Feb 2021. I had been watching for tickets. Today I decided to take a look and found a great deal on AM in business class, but cannot bring myself to pull the trigger and buy. This is pretty far out, but who knows...
I have not had much experience with AM.
What are others thinking about travel this far out (early 2021)? Just curious...
Thanks

I would have no problem to book by then. You know, if this crisis is not resolved by then, we'll be all dead...
Of course the main problem booking well in advance in this context is the solvability of the airline, but the Mexican government will never let AM go bankrupt.

I recently booked flights for December/January to Latin America. I was reluctant, but if by then the world is still in lockdown, I think we all have more important problems than missing a flight.
Personally, I wouldn't book anything earlier than September. I'm still holding on to my honeymoon flights for August in case we can go, but we already know it might not happen.
