JFK-MOW, available on SU, how to book?
Need a bunch of seats (8 ideal, but will take less, and can break them up) on JFK-MOW, for next Aug.
SU flies 3 direct flights per day.
Expertflyer shows 6 J awards available on SU on every flight.
AF only sees 2 seats @72K+ $267.
DL sees none.

What SkyTeam and Aeroflot partner miles do you have?
Sometimes partner award seats can't be booked on line and you must call, ideally *knowing* that there's availability on specific flights and dates. SU award seats might not appear on delta.dumb to be bookable on line. However, it's common for airlines to release more award seats in their own program versus what they decide to make available to various partners. Also, you might see phantom availability, in which award seats appear to be available on the website but really aren't bookable, even if you call.

I have DL and AmEx MRs/Chase URs.
Called DL about a different award that wasn't bookable online, and asked them about SU. They see nothing at all. But now when you call DL, it says it's home of SkyMiles and FB programs. FB sees the seats, DL doesn't?

Award availability is not the same for each program. In this case, SU decides how many seats they release for awards for their own program and for each of their partners.

SU awards have been unavailable on DL for a while now unfortunately. I'm hopeful it will come back someday as there was good availability to the former Soviet locations which are tough to get to otherwise but there hasn't been any news lately.
