KLM China Airlines?

Hi! I am thinking about booking a ticket from AMS to TPE. I've found a good price on KLM but in fine print it says "operated by China Airlines". I prefer not to fly CI (have flown before and prefer KLM) but I am not sure what it means to "be operated by" China Airlines. Will it be a KLM plane or CI?

It is a CI plane Just that both KLM and CI have an agreement to be able to sell tickets on each others plane. If you last flew CI from AMS over 2 years ago you will find the plane much better than the old A340. The only issue I see is the flight is 1 or 2 hrs longer.

CI currently flies the A350 and later this year will go to a B777 which is same aircraft that KLM uses to TPE.

FWIW, I had great experiences on CI 773 and 359 in J in September. My route was SFO-TPE-MEL and reverse.

Flew CI LGW-TPE-LGW on A359 J in December; very good seat, cabin crew and service. Also TPE-BKK, SIN-TPE in CI A333 J also very nice. Would certainly fly that again.
