Skyteam membership
I will have travel plans that elapse into 2017/18 and looking to change to sky team but looking for a program that does not earn on a calendar year any tips... so far the only one that I found is SUMA from Air Europa. But have not been able to discern from their website a clear earning table from partner airlines. Travel will be done in J.
Thanks, JC

Are you saying you're looking for a program that lets you earn over more than a year, or you mean for example you start in March, and you get until next year in March to earn status?
MU does the latter, I don't know of any program that lets you earn over more than year's time. DL miles don't expire.

For status earning some programs are based on calendar year and others are annual based on the month you join.

CI also is based on a 12 month status qualification. So for example my renewal qualification is between August 2016 until July 2018.
CI also gives 2 years elite membership with that time to earn enough to renew (12 months to upgrade) which i think is much better than having to worry about renewal every year.
