Class of service lounge acccess

Hi all-

I'm flying KE from JFK-ICN in First. Does Skyteam/Korean allow me to use any Skyteam lounge or am I locked into the KE lounge at JFK? Specifically wondering if I can use the AF lounge at JFK rather than the KE one. I know on one world I can but can't find anything concrete re: Skyteam.

Thanks!

Normally yes, but there has been several reports recently about KE and AZ pax being denied access to the AF lounge in the evening because AF has many flights at that time and so the lounge get full and they keep the space for their own pax.
What is sure is that, even if you can access it, they won''t give you access to the P class section.

Ugh. Thanks though! I guess I'll try my luck - from what I can tell the J section of AF lounge looks better than F in KE lounge. And unfortunately I'm going to have probably 4-5 hours in JFK

Maybe they'll show me some sympathy between the KE boarding pass and a priority pass card...

you have my full sympathy as I always found KE lounges disappointing. And I like AF lounge in JFK.
You can give it a try, no risk. And please report here !
