How to get the Skyteam Elite Plus lifetime status in no time

You can donate USD40,000 to Inha University run by the same group as Korean Air, you will get the Morning Calm Premium status, equivalent to Skyteam Elite Plus.

Considering that it's a lifetime status, it's a viable option if you are still young enough and have that kind of money.

Link?

This seems surprising. Even if 500k miles are awarded for such a donation, Korean Air usually limits status mileage earning to flights on Sky Team airlines.

Morning Clam Premium

https://fund.inha.ac.kr/overview/overview_honor.asp
No English version available.

- It's mentioned at the second row from the bottom.

- It's also mentioned that they don't give any mileage, only the status.

- Besides Morning Calm Plus, they give some nice privileges at the hospital they run. (not very interesting for most of you though)

- KRW50,000,000 * 0.000835 = USD41,7750

- They issue a receipt for the tax office. If you are running a business of your own, you might get tax exemption for the amount donated. Check the tax treaty between your country and Korea if donations are covered as well.

There's one 7 too many in your USD quote. But sounds like a nice deal!

There is one possibility, costs are similar, but it is quite work intense. However, no BIS required and *G 4 life! To not close this loophole I don't want to post it here. But if you are really interested you will find the solution somewhere.
