Op up on China Eastern?

As a Delta Skymiles Diamond, any chance of an opup on MU from J to F?

I've been idly wondering the same thing. But not holding my breath.

OTOH, it does happen sometimes on KE.

As FB plat I received an OPUP earlier this year at the gate, while flying HKG-PVG.
However I very seriously doubt it had to do anything with my plat.... I'm quite sure it was related to an overbooked plane instead.

With around 60 MU flights in the past 12 months I already feel "upgraded " if I manage to get a seat in the front instead of a middle seat in the last row

So don't put up your expectations too high..... It's MU we are talking about!

MU barely even op-up its own elites... They are quite strict usually, unless they have oversold...

The same goes for the bulk of the carriers out there...

I often fly MU and CZ within China, and most of the times they do not even recognize my Flying Blue FF card.

In small airports such as KRY or KCA the check-in clerk will look at my FF card, and iimmediately hand it back to me without a word (no point arguing, they don't speak english). No way to get priority boarding (there is no priority lane any way) and no priority tags for the luggage.

The most anoying is that I then have to mail the original boarding passes to AF in order to get credit for the flights
