SkyTeam Lounge in MAD?

I've searched everywhere for a SkyTeam Lounge in MAD and I can't find one. Is this true? I have a long layover there next month and my travelling partner (SkyTeam Elite+) and I were hoping to find one. Thanks.

There is a lounge in MAD, depending on access criterion. It works for BE passengers.

There is a lounge in the B concourse of Terminal 1 - near gate B28 I think. This is a lounge that's shared by a bunch of airlines, not just Delta. It's no where near the TATL departure gates for Delta.

Also, there's a lounge in the Schengen terminal used by KLM, which I think is Terminal 2 at Barajas.

Yes; check in agent will write you a pass.

I was allowed in with only my Elite + card over the summer. No free wi-fi but there are 2 computer terminals for use if you need to check email or something. Plenty of drinks and small snacks as well. Also, FYI you can ask the attendants behind the snack counter for sandwiches which are kept in the back...they will inform you what is available.

Check in agent at the BE check in desk did not write me a pass. Told me I could "try" at the lounge. (!)

It's called the Cibeles lounge. Old, ratty furniture, a bit musty, but quiet and serviceable if you don't have to spend more than an hour.

The dragon let me in on a Y bp and Plat card.

T2 yes. I was there last week, flying Y on UX. No problems gaining admission - they issued me the contract lounge guest pass when I showed my DL PM card. Guess it was useful for once.

+1

I have never had an issue. If you are in T4, the lounge there is small but clean with a nice selection of light sandwiches and snacks.

Which is pretty much the same thing that happened in high school when you had to take a wiz!
