[MOVED]lounge access
i have a 8 hr layover at lax flying out via bus. class tickets on southern china air, they told me that i could'nt use K.A. lounge, i thought if you where traveling out in business you could use the lounges, by the way, tickets are with continental,milage tickets

On most airlines you can only use the lounge of the airline you are flying with regardless of class of travel. There are exceptions made for frequent flyers with elite status e.g. with *G you can use any *G lounge provided you are travelling with a Star Alliance airline.
But China Southern and Korean Airlines (I assume that is who K.A. is as KA is actually Dragonair) are part of Skyteam, not the Star Alliance.

If you are flying ST C-class you are pretty much stuck with whatever lounge they sent you (they'll give you a voucher). As a ST E+ you can use any St lounge if your flight is ST operated.
