Which FF plan to enroll?

Which FF plan to enroll?
Please help this friend of mine choose a plan:
* HKG based
* Upcoming trip (Nov-Dec): AF HKG-CDG-HKG (Economy-L)
* Likely trip summer 2010: Likely DL HKG-ATL-LAX-HKG (Restricted economy)
On "face value" these trips would get her close to a 20k-25k award, but AF/FB would give only 50% on L and less than 100% on DL. Meanwhile, DL/SM would give 100% for most any DL fares, but for L on AF it's 0%! Are there other ST FF plan that would give better overall miles?
