SIXT @ TUS is A+
About 3-4 months ago I started switching my rental from Hertz over to Sixt due to the AI scanners. I of course status matched from Hertz PC to Sixt Platinum.
Most of my rentals recently have been either at PHX or TUS airports in Arizona. PHX has been fine, but at TUS, I get upgrades every single time. Mostly into the BMW X3 or X5, and quite frankly, they have the friendliest staff ever there. Could not be happier in making this change so far!
I had always considered Sixt (wrongly) at the level of the lower tier rental companies (like Fox, Advantage, etc). So glad I tried them out finally.

But per Sixt management, they have a human review it first, and a human is available to answer questions before you're charged. The issue with Hertz is that it automatically (without review) charges you for the damage plus fees, and the chatbot function is poor at best. This is why it's always best to take your own very detailed photos and videos beforehand, or rent with a credit card that has coverage.
