Sixt not charging tax on some country sites?

Sixt not charging tax on some country sites?
I'm trying to book a 3 night rental in Munich end of April.
I noticed this as well, but specifically, when I book via Sixt Canada, it charges me an additional 20 euro for tax. If I book via Sixt Germany or Sixt Poland, it does not charge me VAT.
Does this mean that I should book via Sixt Germany? Or will they just charge me the 20 Euro tax upon dropping off, even though it should've been included in the price.
