Sixt “Platinum StatusMatch”?

This is what my profile shows. Does anyone have any experience with how this plays out at the desk as vs. simply “Platinum?”
I’ve seen speculation that platinum acquired through rentals should be good for two levels of upgrade, while stats match only gets you one at best.
I think we all know from experience the SIXT counter people have a lot of discretion whether and how far to move you up and what “up” even means. If there is any selection.
But I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this designation in real life?

It's just the auto designated name for your booking profile when it's a match. If you log into the website and go to your booking profiles you can delete the words status match.

I have three profiles, one a gold match from matching another car company that just says gold, one that says platinum status match and another that says platinum World elite et Mastercard.... I didn’t type in those names and, wait for it... All three yield different discounts on the same rental. The world elite yields the larger.

I have gold earned the hard way, which earns me 10%, platinum status match, which is 15% (and I deleted the word statusmatch from it, but obviously had no impact.) I didn't know about the World Elite thing, but I'm starting that process now.

Just bouncing between my three profiles on the same Tacoma and same days the platinum yields $49/day discounted from $54.... The gold just shows a flat $42/day with no standard charge it’s discounted from and the world elite platinum yields $40.71 discounted from what it says is $44.

Clearly the algorithm is not just odd, like much else about Sixt, its manipulating the standard rate as it calculate discounts. super strange.

Even more strange, my gold profile gives a consistent 10% off and my platinum match profile gives a consistent 15% off. World Elite told me they could get me platinum status except I already have it, but if I want their special discount I have to contact world elite directly.

I've obtained a Platinum via Status match that, after the first year, doesn't let me have upgrades anymore (a Sixt guy in Milan showed me his monitor stating "No upgrades allowed" beside my account number). I'm currently waiting to receive an AMEX Platinum, and I will be entitled to request a new (?) full Platinum status at Sixt. Do I have to expect that a new Platinum profile will show up on my Sixt account?

I do not know if I answer your question but I had the same problem when I status match my Centurion card against Sixt Diamond 2017. You will receive a new Sixt Platinum card with a new membership number added to your profile AMEX Plat ...
