Is Sixt worth it?

I plan to rent a car for a week in July in Ljubljana Airport. I have never rented before so doing my homework and reading forums not to get burned by renting from cowboys. I have been quoted Ł77 by Sixt for six days which is cheaper than Hertz (Ł114). I am not sure which company to go with. Here are the thoughts that i picked up on the internet:

Hertz is expensive but has a good reputation and is good at dealing with problems. There are almost no complains on Hertz forum on Flytalker as opposed to the Sixt forum which is full of desperate customers.

With Hertz you pay what are quoted online. Sixt tends to overcharge a lot? Or am I wrong?

How much more than the quoted Ł77 should i be expecting to pay when renting from Sixt? There is a 10% airport charge, highway toll, anything else? Would like to take a third party insurance. Could I turn down Sixt insurance and use my own?

With regard to the comments about complaints here: in fairness, so little else goes on here on the Sixt board that it is of course going to look like a mega complaint-fest!

Generally speaking, as long as you've selected all the options you need (insurance, automatic, whatever), the price you see is the price you should pay.

Well, just my $0.02 but my experiences of late have been the exact opposite of this. I got status matched over to Sixt having grown frustrated with Hertz and so far ive loved them. Friendly staff, good upgrades, nice cars, no fuss. Vs Hertz who ive had 2 rentals from in the last month, one which ended up over charging me to the tune of $11,000 and their customer service line refusing to admit it even happened. They just kept saying i was charged a $5k deposit (despite their own receipt showing over charges), and when I emailed them proof 2 weeks ago they just decided to stop replying to me. Id go with Sixt, but again...personal preference
