Pool visit (or lounge)

Hi

I am flying Qantas LHR-SYD via SIN and I was wondering if it is possible during the stop (I suppose that is 1,5 hours right), I can visit the pool? Or should I go for a lounge visit at that time? Most important: I want to take a shower between flights

An hour and a half is short for an airport swim but also short for a lounge visit with shower if you must wait for the shower. IIRC the pool fee at SIN includes a shower, towel, and nonalcoholic beverage. The pool isn't open 24/7 and hasn't been for a long time, so check your flight times carefully if you have a night or very early morning connection.

Good call on the timings. I didn't realise they no longer opened 24/7

QF lounge n SIN has a reasonable number of shower suites (circa 30) and usually available. Of course you need lounge access (cannot be purchased but you can be guested by another pax who has status on same flight).. Lots of paid lounges around, not sure of their shower situation as I don't look beyond the excellent QF lounge.

Wow. I never realised QF had so many showers! Is this because of the transiting passengers?

All QF and most others fly UK-AUS with a SIN layover.

I think it's been about a decade, unless they changed back and I didn't notice.

Closing time of T1 rooftop pool is 11pm.

There is something special watching a A380 final approach in a hot tub with a Tiger.

I agree with you. Sitting in a lounge is so boring and can be done anywhere.

Hi,

Also at SIN you will need to clear security again (at the gate ) prior to boarding also, I think the advice on the BA/QF forum is that if you have BA/QF lounge access a shower is possible though you should head to the lounge asap after leaving the aircraft

Regards
