Changi transfer
Hi
Was hoping someone had some advice. We'll be arriving on JetStar at 1230am and have a United business class leaving SIN at 530am. I suppose we have to collect our bags, clear customs, and then just sit and wait until the united ticket counter opens? I was hoping we could either stay in a lounge or go to the transit hotel but I dont think it is possible. Does anyone know how this works?

You will need to go through immigration, collect bags at T1 and transfer to T3.
UA check-in desks open three hours before departure.
After getting your BPs and going back through immigration, you can use the lounge.

Thanks. Is there any airline from BKK to SIN which will do this?
If not I suppose the other option is to just not claim the bags, go to the transit hotel, and then at 3am get the bags, clear immigration and check in to United.
Or perhaps we can get on a earlier flight to SIN and put the bags in storage until United opens and explore the city.

You could hang around IN the terminal before clearing at 3-4am to go get your bags.
If you can OLCI for your UA flight that should suffice the BP requirements to get into the SQ lounge.
Even if you cant get in the lounge, inside the terminal will have better seating (and wifi that actually works).
Your Jetstar bags will be sitting outside the lost luggage office at T1. You don't have to worry about theft, this is Singapore.
