Here we are 2024 and still happening
Just been flying country to country with standard contact solution and as soon as I hit Singapore, it’s confiscated. They are still telling you to poor it into and empty bottle, thus removing the sterile nature. So backwards for such an advanced country.

That's the norm when I travel from Copenhagen airport too. The only place I saw that's ok was in the US. If you can't stuff that bottle into a 1l bag you can't bring it through.
