Typical response time on e-mailed feedback?

When sending feedback to SQ via the web form, how long does it typically take to receive a response?

I submitted some feedback about our malfunctioning (consistently hanging/requiring crew reboots) KrisWorld units on a flight my wife and I took on December 6 (on the 77W in J), hoping for at least some acknowledgement from SQ. To date, I've heard nothing back--is that typical? Are there any alternate routes people recommend for getting a response? I can't find a customer service phone number anywhere on the website.

My only other data point was an email I sent to KrisFlyer customer service a day or two later, which received a response the next day. Should I not plan on getting any response from SQ on my prior letter?

Seadan,

I am disappointed that you have not heard from Singapore Airlines.

Maybe you could resubmit your feedback directly via SAA_Feedback.singaporeair.com.sg and wait five working days.

Do keep us updated!

Well, I resubmitted to both the us_feedback and saa_feedback, but still haven't heard anything back. Is it me?

6 weeks without a response for me. Sent two separate requests. Hopefully someone at SQ is reading this who will do something about it. SQ is really screwing up bad lately. Maybe we should send some snail mail to the CEO telling him how he's got several totally incompetent managers in his company.

SQ never replies if they don't feel like it...and if they do, it could be months...

This is where Jet Airways shines - they are replying to me almost within a day or two! ^

Sent a inquiry on 27.12 - Got no answer until today.
But on the same day sent also to CX and KLM other questions and got no answers as well... Bad service from all 3.

Even LH USA is faster in replying! (then their (SQ, KL, CX) response time could be considered be really bad! )

I've found SQ to be very random with responses - they may or may not come, and if they do they often take many weeks. I have also found a tendency to send replies which show that they have not bothered to read the original email to them.

Given all the issues you seem to have with SQ, why on earth do you still keep flying them?

I don't - only when necessary now!

Unfortunately LH has changed their late night EWR flight to MUC instead of FRA, and thus, one cannot connect to BOM on that flight.

SQ's SQ21 then is the only other *A alternative, for a late-night departure...other than SK, which would be an even worse connection possibility, and I am sure I would reach without my luggage!

that doesn't make any sense

you fly further, in the wrong direction, on an airline you passionately dislike (so much so that go out of your way to actively post about it on the FT forums), because the simplest routing misconnects

what about all the other routing options? there are plenty of ways and lots and lots of flights to get to/from new york city through europe
