*A Premium Economy earning rates
With other *A partners offering Premium Economy classes, I thought that I'll just add their earning rates:
NZ - Premium Economy Class =100% of distance travelled
SK - Economy Extra Class = 100 % of distance travelled
BD - Premium Economy Class = 125% of distance travelled (classes Y, S , U and L)
TG - Premium Economy Class = 100 % of distance travelled
Rather stingy if you ask me.

NZ are being very stingy re premium economy. On airpoints economy->business is treated as double upgrade. I notice that currently airpoints earning for premium economy varies by route - US & LHR earns more than economy, the trans-tasman routes currently earn same as economy. So maybe the higher earning just hasnt been rolled out fully - waiting for the product to be more consistently available perhaps?

Thanks for that update, 9V-JKL. ^ I'll figure out how to refer to that information in the FAQ sometime soon.
I agree with you: the rates are pretty stingy. Weird to see OneWorld (i.e., BA) being more generous with earning rates than *A. I hope Kiwi is right about NZ merely waiting for their prem econ cabin to be fully rolled out.
By the way, by BM, do you mean BD?

Just 1 more:
VS - Premium Economy =100% of distance travelled
I think in the FAQ, you may add a section that says: "So how many miles will I earn?"

You do know that SQ has sent 744's, 9V-SQ*,SV* and SY* to KUL before, and continues to do so on a quite regular basis don't you?
Classes sold are indeed FY - the aircraft utilised is another thing altogether
here's an example
and another, the dreaded SMT
yet another, the aforementioned SQI
all pics taken in KUL.

I think I've flown SIN-KUL vv on SQ maybe 8 or 10 times and had 4 different aircraft/configurations. Similarly CGK and BKK.
That shouldnt be surprising as SQ looks to best utilise their fleet in between long haul flights.
Other airlines do the same. Another example is Air NZ which uses mixture of longhaul and shorthaul a/c on the AKL-SYD/MEL/BNE routes. Can get anything from a A320 (mainline or freedom air config) to 767 to 744 (non-refurbished or refurbished), maybe even 777.

Yes, I am aware that aircraft types deployed on certain routes can differ from those originally planned. I guess I overlooked that point when I wrote that earlier post.
Thanks for the clarifications!
