Krisflier online offers redemption... not call centre
Morning!
Am I going mad... or is the Krisflyer computer?
I need to use up some miles to pop over to BNE from LHR for a couple of days in August... I go into online redemption booking... One way business saver award ticket
LHR 18:30, SIN 14:15 SQ319 Business Class
SIN 09:55, BNE 19:15 SQ245 Business Class
cost 86275 miles
And a seats available. Nice!
Except I actually want to buy a cheap economy ticket, and use points to upgrade.
The Krisflyer service centre in Glasgow tells me... no availability LHR->SIN Until November. No suprise there.
Sure enough, I check the LHR->SIN direct, and it's true. No seats. But if I feed in LHR->BNE, it comes up with flights (but only for a few certain days)! What gives?
And having a look at availability on the SQ319...
