Exactly what risk do I have when I plug in.

They also seem to insist (but not really enforce) that you remove your laptop battery when you use the AC power. You can find previous discussions on that subject by using search.

To my knowledge, it's A for First, and D for Raffles, as you correctly stated. Mileage accrued on any Star carrier of your choice. Remember, this isn't a "special promotion" as such (where things like the TG restriction will apply), it's just normal SQ market fares ex-CMB where every ticket is seemingly 1/5th of elsewhere!

I am not sure if this is the same in Raffle and F on the rest of the fleet, but it surprised me the first time I saw it. It also took a bit of jiggliing, because it is a outlet configuration that can apparently accept most of the global plug types - a slightly impressive piece of engineering in its own right!!
The Spacebeds all have the AC plug instead of the EmPower. No need to bring any additional adapters if your flight is Spacebed equipped.
