I need to split a PNR in order to cancel one passenger on a multi-passenger PNR. Is there a way to get SQ to do this other than calling? As someone who hates calling, I'd prefer a nonverbal method if it exists.

No way, they need to verify your identity and record your request. Either you call in or visit the nearest SQ center.
