Pretty sure it's HKG. from 8x daily pre-covid to 1x daily now. If they cant increase the frequency, at least step up the capacity. Yield on this premium/corproate route tends to be good.
NRT-LAX, they already have like 3x daily to LAX or something and US demand is not as strong as N.Asia.
Plus TYO is already served 4x daily.

if they want to increase the frequency, can just easily change some of these cargo flights to passengers flight instead. Just need to add one set of cabin crews.
the A380 can be used for other higher yield route such as SYD or Tokyo. For pre-covid, the A380 was deploy to HKG as the plane will be sitting on the tarmac in the day time.

won’t be HKG. SQ is now flying almost 6-7 times daily to HKG (exclude the 747 cargo plane) . 2x passengers flight plus 4-5 cargoes flight (787/A359).

I think Sbs2716g is saying that you currently have SQ1, 892, 894, 896, 898 (any others?) flying on most days. Would only take the addition of cabin crew to convert the flights currently flying cargo only.

but SQ2/1, SQ 874/875, SQ892/893, SQ896-897,SQ898/899 are currently flying almost on daily basis as cargoes flight. So just put some crews and they can be easily converted to passenger flights. And these flights are also currently flying at the exact timing as per passenger flights. (Except for SQ2 which depart SIN at 3am)
add on. If they really want to deploy A380, there is currently a spare plane sitting on the tarmac daily after performing SQ25. So the plane can be use from 830am to 1030pm. There is no need to take out the A380 from Delhi.

I think they have a rather significant shortage of cabin crew at the moment although more will be coming through the training pipeline to support increased ops in the coming months. On top of that, I also read that there is a shortage of B777-rated pilots and engineering staff so I think any big increases in the shorter term are just not going to be realistic.
