Adding a stopover to business saver award
Greetings,
I have a confirmed seat on EWR-SIN in Business Saver. I’m trying to add a flight from SIN to HAN a few days later (so turn it into a stopover). I can see Saver space in business available on the website. However, two different agents I’ve spoken to say that Saver space is not available for direct booking, only Advantage. Thus, they want to charge the whole EWR-HAN itinerary as Advantage. Is there anyway to escalate this or is there some magic word I can tell the agent so they know how to search for inventory correctly? This shouldn’t be a married segment issue since it’s a stopover, right?
Cheers!

It is still married segment issue.
if you have book EWR-SIN-HAN initially, then you can just use the saver availability to change into stopover.
but right now you are booking only EWR-SIN. So you need to add another segment, then it become married segment issue because SQ limit the number of redemption for EWR-SIN-XXX.

I thought stopovers are not permitted on a one way Saver award? (Assuming this is a one way award and why the agent is suggesting an Advantage award). Isn't that the issue?
