Just the HKG/SIN legs or all the way to SFO?

I was booked HKG-SFO (connecting from BKK) and it's cancelled. Here's what SQ says on the website:
In addition to the adjustments that were announced earlier, flights SQ001 and SQ002 will operate as a direct Singapore-San Francisco service with effect from 17 February 2020. SIA will temporarily remove the Hong Kong stop on these services.
If they've added a third flight SIN-SFO (which seems unlikely), it's not loaded into the schedule yet.

Maybe ask SQ to fly you from BKK to SIN to SFO

Thanks. They really ought to do that proactively. I'll wait a few days.

Just received "seat change notification" - found this rather amusing:

Considering that it's an entirely SQ ticketed itinerary (TG/SQ), I think it's safe to say they know I'm coming from BKK

How would they know what your preference for rebooking is? There are a million options. Well, if you just count Star Alliance then you can go through Tokyo or Incheon. Or Singapore.

They would rebook on their own metal via SIN. That should be obvious to anyone who knows anything at all about SQ.

And, so why didn't they?

I might be starting the obvious, but why not contact SQ to see what rebooking options are on offer?

Own metal and own ticket are SQs main priority, you are completely right.

Got to SIN early yesterday from Europe (due to strong winds pushing us) and would have made an earlier flight to SYD. Asked if they would take me on the earlier flight and despite having a suite available, they refused to make the change as it was a LH issued ticket. Great *A “partners” they are.

Seem like SQ1/2 will be using A350 (no first class). So those who book first class will be swapped to J instead

I am on SQ 1 on 3/3, SQ 2 on 3/14.
Received a notice of arrival time change on SQ1, departure time change of SQ2 and equipment change this morning. The flights are still SQ 1/2. I am in PE and the seat maps are the same. It appears SQ has dropped/combined SQ 33 into SQ1.
I read the notice above, but the information SQ has sent me (and backed up with changes on expert flyer) show SQ33 is now SQ1, and has moved to SQ1's time slotting out of SFO
FWIW, SQ 1/2 was 75% full 30 days ago, down to 25% when I last looked on Friday...
