Changing Departure City/Date
So I have a booked award flight LAX - SIN (4 day stopover) then SIN-DPS. (Business 95k)
I see a flight available right now JFK - SIN (99k). It leaves a day earlier but will get to SIN same day as my original flight. I want to keep everything else the same, just change my departure from LAX to JFK and leave a day earlier. Is this possible? What will it cost me? Is it going to require cancelling and rebooking or can they simply just change the departure and ask me for difference in points?
