1) you can't book *A awards in PE, as there is no agreed upon alliance-wide inventory code.
2) UA does not offer PE to SIN, as the 789 does not have those seats.

Not on topic, but a general question on Premium Plus availability. Is there much availability for discounted PP fares between SFO and Heathrow? I'd like to try one of those seats on the SFO-Heathrow leg of a flight from PDX-Heathrow via SFO. Thanks!

depends on how far away you are looking at (no nonstop SFO-LHR until april), and as a 1K you can upgrade E to PE for 20 PlusPoints (or any status with 20k miles)
