SFO- HKG Redemption
It's been a couple of years since I've redeemed SG flight. I'm looking to redeem a flight for 4 people from SFO-HKG next year. However, every date that I've searched show's no availability for even 2 passengers. I tried to break down the redemption into 2 each booking. I even searched for the seats released 355 days out and none are available. What advice do you have for a family of 4? I'd be fine with 2 first and 2 business or all 4 in business. Do you know how many 1st and business class seats Singapore releases for this flight now? It used to be 2 F and 4 business up front I believe. How likely will waitlist go through? Do they still release seats closer to departure date?

Given there are only 4 F seats on the 77W these days, I'd say unlikely unless you're very close to departure. You do have a good shot at 1 Saver and 1 Standard.

how about business? how many do they release up front and near departure date do you know?

Based on my experience, I think it's unlikely to get 4 seats in F/J. Maybe 1 in F, and 2 in J...if you're lucky and flexible. What month are you traveling?
