Booking help!
This might seem a little silly.
I am trying to book a multiy city trip.

CHC-SIN-FCO ( 5 day stop over in SIN - mid august departure)

LHR-SFO-CHC ( 5 day stop over in SFO - mid Dec departure)

Is this possible
I have tried Lufthansa, SQ and AIR NZ ( prefer SQ)
they all show it as impossible.

I have tried Cathay and they produce a result but the fare is ridiculous ( economy)

Any suggestions?
do I need to reroute my trip

Have you tried pricing out a RTW ticket?

RTW ticket sounds good. Try the multi city search in a good online travel agent like kayak or google flights too.

Yes I tried RTW

amounts to 10k NZD for 2 people

essentially what we are trying to do is get to Rome and back just with different stopovers

Trying to cross both Pacific and Atlantic Oceans means you are doing RTW, full stop. No way to book it as RT. There is LH/LX/OS airfare (business and first mini RTW) that would allow something like that ex Australia and I have done it many times, but I am not aware of such airfare ex NZ.
