Air China award availability
Couldn't find this posted anywhere. Trying to book 2 CA J award tix which show as available on Aeroplan, ANA and United, but multiple SQ agents insist no availability. Is this an ongoing issue/is there a workaround?

I think there still are issues with J class on Air China. I see availability on my Lifemiles account but am unable to book. Phantom space.

This is an ongoing problem with a number of *A partner FFPs. It dragged on for months on Aeroplan. Then suddenly, no matter which routing you looked at, the only offering was CA via PEK, despite the face that not everyone wants CA and many do not want to transit PEK.
