Original JFK-FRA-SIN, want to add a stopover in FRA?

It is award ticket. Can I add a stopover for 15 days in FRA. If so, how much do I need to pay? Thanks!

When you initially book the stopover costs $100 for one-way booking or free for round-trip booking. I'm assuming you also have to pay the $55 change fee now that it's already booked. Plus there needs to be availability on all the sectors. Best to call and find out.

I have a confirmed Mel-Sin-Fra-Jfk saver one-way award ticket in suite and want to add a stopover at Fra for $100. I just called Krisfleyer Singapore office and asked for assistance and the first rep was helpless but the second one told me that their specialists were busy and would need to return a call within 24 hours. Is it the normal procedure? Also does adding a stopover cost a reticketing fee?

I understand that the 2nd leg (Fra-jfk) could be waitlisted depending on my preferred departure date, but would it be possible to waitlist as many flights leaving for jfk to avoid potentially getting stuck in Fra for ever? If I waitlisted for only one Fra-jfk and I didn't get off the waiting list, what would happen??
Btw, how do Krisflyer US and UK offices compare to Singapore office?

Update: I got a call back but was in the shower, so they texted me to contact Krisflyer again...., which I did and managed to make two male Singaporean reps understand what I would want to do finally! According to one of them, however, I can only waitlist for two flights (Fra-jfk) and now my reservation showed the two additional flights as waitlist. He also searched for nearby dates that were still open to waitlisting but nothing was available for the 2nd half of September.

Now what options do I have to get these waitlisted flights cleared? He mentioned something about chasing but didn't quite understand it.

Thanks

they won't let you look it unless you can at least confirm something from FRA-JFK I think they will let you do it even in Y but if nothing clears, your out or luck and JFK-FRA and vv is usually full w paying customers due to great F or J fares. You could get stuck in Y keeping in mind someone else posted there was not ONE F seat avail for 3 MONTHS STRAIGHT'

Yes, I learned that the hard way. In addition to FRA-JFK, I'm also waitlisted on FRA-SIN segment as part of JFK-MEL. SIN-MEL got cleared quickly and I reserved it but unless FRA-SIN segment also clears, this itinerary becomes useless. As for the FRA-JFK segment, I hope I get off the waiting list a week prior, though I've read SQ flying with empty premium cabins without releasing available seats Also having them send the chaser makes no difference in my case, popular route without KF/*A status.
