depending on where you are transferring from - the official stance is usually 5-7 working days, the longest I've had it take it 3-4 days on my first transfer and subsequently 24-48 hours... allow a week to be extra safe though

I transferred from an American Amex account and it was more than 12 hours but less than 24. This was in January.

I transferred 3 times in the past year, each time it was 12-24 hours.

OP here. The transfer took 36 hours and the flight (SIN-JFK) was still available at the saver rate in first/suite! Thanks everyone for your help.
