multi guests & multi partner status lounge access question
hi all,
I did attempt a search on my question, couldn't locate the answer in thus forum, so here goes.
- flying SQ Y out of changi
- party of 3 adults and 3 children (5, 3, 2)
- I or one of adult has *A gold & SQ partner gold
how likely the T2 Krisflyer gold lounge allowing entire party access?
thx
ioki

one guest (adult) with the *A card and another guest (adult) with the partner gold card?
however, on research it seem the kids (5yrs and under) are bit of hit and miss when it comes to counting under the notion of guest?

Partner Gold treated same as any gold.
I'd try Gold 1 + Adult + 3 yo, Gold 2 + 5 yo + 2 yo, you may be lucky, you may not. With the airport at Changi, 6 adults can easily get access (if enought time) with 2 star golds, by splitting the group and using the lounges in T2 and T3 separately! Impossible with young children, so need to try your luck!

Depends who's manning the gate I reckon. I have had no trouble getting my wife and kid in with just my *G card here in SIN.
In FRA/MUC this would never happen unless you were SEN (LH's own FFP) as they treat even an infant of just a few months (who will not eat or drink ANYTHING) as an official "guest" of the lounge.

I'm confused by the OP. Is it only one of the three adults that has status? And what do you mean by *A Gold and SQ partner Gold? Could this be the same status, i.e., Gold on UA (a partner of SQ) is also automatically *A Gold and, in fact, one card? If so, there is no hope of getting everyone into the lounge.

*nods* to last post.
me or one of three adults have *A gold + SQ partner gold (equivalent to krisflyer gold)
partner airline is not part of *A.

If that is the case your chances are practically zero. The only way would be to try one group in lounge in T2 (adult, two smaller children) then you leave and take the other adult and child to T3. But still don't like your chances.

actually VA plat, although count for nothing in this instance.
yeah, I am the only one with status/s
sounds like we'll need to give the SQ lounges a miss.
must admit in all my years of travelling, i've only ever set foot in the only SQ lounge@bkk when I was *A gold curtesy of the now dead Anett airline, was looking forward to the SIN SQ lounge as it became possible recently via VA.
