The lovely girls at the front counter (who usually remember me) just said it opens at 07:00 and closes at 20:30.

You will have access as a *G so long as you can present a *A BP.

thank you very much for taking the time and finding this out for me!

it seems that the info I found previously
The SilverKris Lounge is open daily from 05:15 to 23:00 (except on Thursdays from 05:15 to 19:00).

is no longer correct

You mean the 5m detour from the beer/coconut fridge to the front counter?

Enjoy the lounge.

Sorry to bump this old threat up again.

I am at SKL BKK. I notice now that the sugar pack is Novotel. I never notice it before. I had impression that SKL BKK catering was the Peninsula.

Have they change the caterer? or my illusion or just the sugar come from Novotel?

As did I. The coconuts being the most unexpected but best item I've had in a lounge.

Some of the booze (the scotch comes to mind) also have Novotel labels on them and have for quite some time.

The coconuts have been the main draw for the lounge since it opened and the wifi was awful back then. Now pour a little Kettle One in there and it's even better.

Occasionally there's a scarcity of coconuts and the lounge doesn't have any. If they are available they'll be in the fridge.

probably they have been ripped off by other SQ pax

You are refering to the same fridge for the drinks? May be I will check it out end of the month. Never really pay attention to details.

So can anyone confirm that the caterer now is Novotel, no more Peninsula?

Finally, I saw the coconut in BKK SKL. There were only 2 lft when I came in, but now none, as I took one and another passenger took another one. I do not think they will replenish it.

I think this is explain why I never saw it before.
