Changing FFP# [2025]
Hi,
On the back of the recent BA announcement, I have decided it is time to move to CX and try to make DM.
Is it possible to use my BA OWE benefits up until the lounge / boarding and swap last minute so I can start to credit flights to CX?
appreciate it!

6-7 round trips to Milan in J would net you 1200 SC, which is roughly 200-250k HKD? If you nest that trip within a few multi-cities ex-PEK/PVG/TPE I think you could make DM for less?

As noted, much easier/cheaper for people based around Asia rather than in HKG.

Ah, yes, OK. TPE-CGK is 140 status points in discount J and costs about HK$6300. So you'd need to do that 15 times from Green to get to Diamond at a cost of about HK$100K/GBP10K. And 9 times at a cost of ~HK$60K/GBP6K to maintain it.
As noted, much easier/cheaper for people based around Asia rather than in HKG.

The best possible way, out of the options I have suggested would be
ICN-BKK (via HKG)
BKK-SIN
SIN-ICN (via HKG)
This would get 175 Points.

Lounge Access with different FFN
I am wondering if I need to have my sapphire FFN on my boarding pass to access Cathay lounges, or if I can just show a different FF card for access. For example, AA Flagship lounges allow me to have one FFN on the reservation, and to show a different FF card, but Alaska requires the Sapphire FFN to be on the reservation. Thank you!
