Why does website show different fares to different people? (based on status)

Ive been in a discussion with a gentleman on another site re award seats on international flights. Europe in particular.
I commented on the outrageous jump in miles need for a saved Business Class on UA metal.
hecssid he sees them for 80k. The lowest Im seeing is 155 for a one stop through EWR or ORD. HE Posted a screen shot.

For that exact flight, I show 115k.

Then I asked him to look at Nov 28 CDG to IAH.
He posted this :

At virtually the same time, I see this. (Bad picture from laptop)

His is showing cardmember price though he says he holds no cards. I AM a card member.

Why is the website offering him much better deals on award seats?

I would assume he is a Plat or higher and therefore has access to IN inventory.

Only higher elites see business IN -- what is call business saver

I see the 80K also
Noted it is also mixed cabin and the domestic legs are in economy
