FA shakes F pax with two blankets, calls police - AA gets sued again.
Hey guys, looks like Ameeican Airlines is trying to get itself into another bankruptcy with this kind of service.
Passenger Claims American Airlines Flight Attendant shook her badly, called police for using extra blanket. FROM THE dallas morning news
https://www.dallasnews.com/business/...extra-blanket/
The lawsuit says flight attendant told passengers, ‘This is my airplane, I am the head flight attendant and I can touch whoever I want.'
Basically the passenger was traveling with her fiance in first class and had her seat blanket and her fiance blanket. Flight attendent shakes her and says he can touch her. Worst thing is she gets to meet police at dfw.
This kind of bad press is going to force aa to bankrupty. Where is Doug Parker?

I think right now , probably both AA and Mr. Parker already have enough on their plate... I am sure, inf the story is completely true... there will some sort of $$ payout to the women... if not true, and proven not true.. I would like
to see the women pay the costs of attorney fees

Why use a large font to describe the lawsuit but a standard font as to the most critical word in the OP, e.g. "claims."
There is always more to these things, it is a complaint, not a judgment and if there is one thing that is an absolute certainty, it is that whatever pittance this might possibly be when the facts are out, it is not going to affect AA's financial position in any material way.
If AA were to fail, it won't benefit any of those so gleeful about what some publicity-seeker leaked. Fares up, less service....

That's not how furloughs work -- you can't target bad apples and use furloughs to improve the overall tone of service. It's done by seniority so the most junior employees, arguably those least in need of detox, are removed and the angry burnout stalwarts stay.
As for this story, the line "I can touch whomever I want" is going to drive some interesting legal maneuvering. Very unfortunate sign of a company cratering from stress and mismanagement.

I would guess this FA is one of the employees with seniority and just doesn't care any more. I had a FA in Business Class from Dublin to ORD throw newspapers at a passenger. It is amazing to me the level of disrespect of some (a very few minority) employees... humans shouldn't act like this, let alone someone being paid to provide service. I avoid AA as much as possible.

It won't but thanks for playing.
Bad press is about #172 on the list of causes of AA's next bankruptcy.
Bad flight attendants might crack the top 75 though.
