What country have you been to the most...but never visited its capital city?
For me an easy one....Mexico.
I've been 12 or 13 times and never been to Mexico City.
I will rectify this as many people have said it's a very good place to visit.
Second would be Costa Rica at 4 times.

I would say the Netherlands would get my prize for the most times entering the country without visiting The Hague. But as the Dutch constitution has Amsterdam as the capital, not sure what to make of that.

Ottawa is a bit....
Also if it wasn't for a business trip I would never have gone to OZ's capital either.

34 trips to Turkey (not including transits). Been to a handful of places besides Istanbul but never Ankara. Number two is Myanmar, with around 5 trips.

I've cumulatively spent several years in India across several decades, and even held citizenship until I was about 15. I've never once been to Delhi.
My second is probably Mexico, 4 trips without visiting MEX.

Mexico for me also up until this past week. CDMX was great... 3 full days was not enough.
