"MEMBERSHIP REWARDS

US Hotel Chain Transfers
Starwood ratio = 3:1 normally (although 60K > 25K with the starwood 25% bonus)

What is meant by the "starwood 25% bonus"? I know about the 20,000 + 5,000 for airlines-but this more applies to airlines not hotels. I have researched and do not know af any untargeted bonuses on transfers at this time.

AMEX Plat business class companion ticket thread?

Greetings, is there a thread that deals with questions about the AMEX Plat business class companion ticket? I have some directed questions about the program - have already looked at the AMEX site and need to get some answers in plain English. OF course, would prefer not to clog the site if there's a thread already there that I haven't found.

Thanks!

NEVER MIND: found it: http://flyertalk.com/forum/showthrea...mpanion+ticket

How to email American Express (USA) customer service

0. American Express does not use internet email
1. Go to http://americanexpress.com
2. Login
3. Use Contact > Email link located below Account Services

I always write to American Express, never telephone, because it creates accountability. Do not combine multiple issues in the same email, submit a separate message for each topic because they are routed to specialists. You will receive an internet email notification when a reply has been posted.

How to link FF/hotel accounts

It there a sticky of FAQ of how to link hotel/frequent flier accounts to a UK AMEX Membership Rewards account (this would be for a UK Corp Amex card and not a Platinum, etc).

Can you do it online or does it have to be done over the phone, etc.

Is there a UK conversion list for transfers for SPG, PC, Hilton, Virgin, etc?

Thanks in advance.
