Thanks for sharing your experience. I waited two weeks before approaching customer support. Its my first time crediting JL flights to QR so I was unsure of the timeline, but its encouraging to know that auto credits do happen.

So if I understand the agent correctly (?), even after +30 days IB never confirmed my flown segments to QR. The agent was kind enough to "escalate" the issue. I hope this sets things into motion.

I would understand that flown sectors on obscure partners like SkyWest or Xiamen would post with a delay, but Iberia is hardly that, lol. These flights were even part of a mixed QR/IB itinary.

Anyhow, I will report back
Fast forward two weeks and still nothing...
Got in touch with chat support, and they escalated the issue again. "Might take up to 45 days" - seriously?

Still waiting for AA ticketed (BA metal) LHR-ATL to post from December 4.
On the other hand, travelled the return legs with AA on Wednesday Jan 7, ATL-PHL-LHR, landed Jan 8 0730, home 11, had a sleep and by the time I got up at 1500 Avios and QPoints had posted.

Happy to report that my Avios and Qpoints from flights back in November (IB operated) finally posted.

Not sure if the following played a part in this, but two days ago, I submitted a "complaint" via the missing avios tab for it taking so long, rather than the usual missing avios "request". Might be a consedence, but anyhow, after a lot of back and forth and two months, they posted

All of my upcoming flights (~9) are luckily QR operated, so those should hopefully post smoothly.

2 CX flights from last Sunday posted last night. After my ordeal with my IB flights not creditting, I was already mentally preparing for a long and lengthy fight to get the avios, so I'm really pleased they posted automatically and fast

Flew 2 JL flights in January, neither of which has posted successfully. I followed up with support but they only said it will take up to 30 more days. It has now been almost 3 weeks since my first flight and still nothing. This is making me seriously reconsider trying to credit to QR at all.

I only have to submit a manual request for AS flights, AA flight always post quickly (except once).
However, I am having a problem with the website lately: when I submit a ticket, I cannot see the response. Where the list of messages should show up, it says "an error has occurred...". Tried many browsers/devices. Anyone has experienced this?

Yes, I am having the same issue. The way that I cracked it was to just simply keep refreshing the page. On some dice rolls, the page loads! Apparently the entire oneworld alliance is united in having barely functioning IT..

Update here. I have been credited with the Qpoints & Avios for ONE of the two flights (both of which were on the same identifier) but not the other which is immensely irritating. Wrote them a follow-up message expressing my disappointment.

I feel it is best not to be irritated but just repeat the process from the beginning and hope for a different outcome. I have, after a fifth try, finally succeeded in getting a QF sector credited which was flown 9 months ago. I made my first claim well on time within the 180-day period. In my follow up communication, they tried to tell me that it was now too late because the flight was over 180 days ago. It was immensely frustrating to have to deal with that nonsense, but it is definitely better to stay calm and each time restate your case. Expressions of disappointment or anger probably do not make the process move any more smoothly.

I have, with all of my retrocredits, not yet been able to figure out whether submitting an online claim form or going through the online chat is the more efficient way of getting something done. The results seem to swing in different directions.

But the question remains whether it is even worth our time and energy to ultimately get credited for that which we are entitled. Life is short and there are plenty of other things to worry about which might be more important than airline status.

I am so used to the process by now that I already have the anwer to the next question copied and ready to paste from a previous WhatsApp conversation. But you are right, it took me 5 interventions and 9 months to get a measly 18 Qpoints from a QF flight credited.

Here we go again, lol

I will he missing out on all the OWS benefits on my long trek home today via TYO and HKG because none of the qpoints of my last 4 JL flights posted. Flying premium economy so lounge access (especially in HKG - 7hr layover) and priority boarding would have been a nice perk.

Flying CX and at least they have been very consistent - like clockwork the qpoints and avios of my last 4 flights with them posted 4dp flight. Preparing for a long fight over the JL avios and qpoints but at least these CX flights will push me into Sapphire within the next few days.

Some of my JL flights now posted - some didn't. Oddly enough my "newest" flights posted, my oldest didn't.

Happy to report that my latest CX flights posted in less than 48h post departure.

So from my experiences
JL, BA, IB; if they don't post within a week, it can become a game to chase them down
CX; usually posts within 4 days (8 flights credited to far without having to open a support request)

Did not get an automatic credit for JL flights (international) in J. Had to send in my eticket and raise a request to get it done. They credited only for one leg of the itinerary despite the ticket showing and me having already flown both legs. Then had to reopen the ticket and ask them to do the second one as well. It seems quite frustrating for them to not have an automatic setup for this, and for the support agents to not be competent enough to resolve these routine tasks.
