How long does it typically take for the XP to post from ZWE-AMS leg on itineraries booked with this Eurostar connection? I took a journey yesterday and the xp from other legs have posted but not this one for the train leg.

Train segments post with a delay of approx. one day compared to the flights, i.e. if your trip is on day X, then flight will post on day X+1 and the train comes at day X+2.

Takes a few days max. Flight segments can be retro-credited straight after the flight, but this is not the case for train segments. When you try you'll get a message along the lines of "Pax has not taken this flight/service".

Planning to skip the last segment of a xxx-Amster-ZWE, do KLM retroactively cancel the XP earning of the entire trip or the segments? Losing 5 XP isn't really much, but it would be nice to know if there are any consequences in skipping.

For now no. For the trains departing AMS (either to ZWE or ZYR), you get a boarding pass when you check-in for your flight. If for any reason you don't, you can get it at the check-in desk of your origin.

Keep in mind that the XPs for the train will post usually with 1 day delay from the flight.

How many days should one leave this? Two days ago I flew MAN>AMS>ZYR, followed yesterday by ZYR>CDG>MAN. As expected, XP Points & FB Miles for MAN>AMS posted yesterday & ZYR>CDG>MAN all posted today; still nothing for the AMS>ZYR leg & the fact that they've already posted for ZYR>CDG, leads me to believe that they won't be forthcoming.

The systems are quite different. I assume you had to physically checkin for the ZYR-CDG-MAN leg. I would give it 1-2 days before you do anything.

I was able to check in online for all legs prior to the outbound (booking showing as MAN>MAN in the app). Unable to view/download the boarding passes though, which were issued at MAN for the first two legs.

Boarding passes for the return were issued at ZYR, where curiously, I also received another boarding pass for AMS>ZYR (on the same pass).

Update: XP Points & Miles for AMS>ZYR have just arrived (between 00:00 & 00:15) on what would be, as far as the calendar is concerned, + 3 days since departure.

Glad you have everything posted!

My point was that based on my impression of having done different train+plane combos, the departure from ZYR is treated a bit like a "flight" and as long as you show up at the check-in desk, the XPs are posted with the flight. For the train between ZWE-AMS and also departing AMS to ZWE and ZYR since the boarding pass is issued upon online check-in, i think they do a "sweep" 2-3 days after the date and they credit the XPs.

Now you did have a weird itinerary so maybe that's why you had to stop at MAN check-in desk.

I just received the latest credits for AMS-ZYR; Travelled on Sunday morning and credited on Wednesday.

Something interesting that I noticed is that I was upgraded on one of the train segments (at least I think so, the original booking said Economy for the train segment, and premium economy on the flight). But as a result that also credited as a business segment, earning 15XP rather than 5XP. Not sure why that happened as that would normally not be the case. Unless train segments connected to a Premium Economy flight are actually booked (rather than operationally upgraded) into business/first?

Interesting, as I have often had my train segments (upgraded) to First class (in combi with Eco) - and never had such a situation before. (For me not that XP is important to me anymore).

Cheers!

I had a boarding pass recently which showed "Europe Business (C)" next to the train segment, received the standard 5 XP after 2 days however.

On another note, just tried to do OLCI for my ZWE-AMS-LUX trip tomorrow morning, and am seeing the following error:
Spoiler

I tried using the PNR in the Eurostar app but it won't recognize it. I'm wondering how I'll be able to get a pass to get on the train given that there is no KL/AF ticket desk at ZWE? (Yes I actually need to take it)
