Wrong birthday on desktop profile but not on app. Is this a problem? IT glitchy.

Upcoming LAX-CPH-BGO r/t itinerary.

Booked on the desktop website as a guest. Afterwards I set up an SAS account.

When logging into the app, everything looks fine. Trip always shows up and my birthdate on my profile there is correct.

But when logging in on a desktop, the birthday is off by a day and my trip doesn't show up - I have to "manually" add the trip every time I log in. I've tried changing my birthdate there but it requires that I upload a government ID document and when I try to do so it instantly gives me an ambiguous error message "Could not send request for change of personal details. Please try again later."

I've tried "later" many times and still get the same error message. I've tried multiple different type of documents like pdf's or jpeg's, all under 200k in size. Same error message.

Phone support seems nonexistent. Waited an hour for a human and gave up. It doesn't indicate how long the wait is like most airlines phone CS do and I genuinely wondered if anyone would ever take the call.

Will an incorrect (possibly) birthday on my profile affect my trip if my passport shows a different date?

You won't have a problem.

Annoying issue, but not a problem for your travel.

Forgot to follow up on this. Generally this did not seem a problem. My US passport number was attached to the PNR. OLCI was fine and quickly got my BP in both directions. The only thing that annoyed me was before the CPH-LAX flight they required a passport check after scanning my BP. Don't know if that was related to this birthdate issue but in the end not a big deal.

The birthdate issue is most likely just a matter of interface - it's probably stored correctly but shows one day off due to wrong time zone being used to display it. A bit of a lazy/incompetent coding but nothing you should be worried about and not a likely reason of the other issues you had.

On a recent booking I also noticed that when booking a trip for another person the website does not give the option to input a birth date but then displays mine (as I was the default passenger) on all following steps without possibility of changing it. Not a problem, I suppose, but quite annoying.

Desktop bday off by a day is a time zone issue. If you switch your computer to the European time zone and reload the site - your bday will be shown correctly.
