Am I understanding this correctly that once you stay at a particular brand, you can NOT get another bonus credit for the same brand in a different city at a different date ?
Example:
I stay 1 night at a Westin brand in London, UK and 1 week later I stay 1 night at a totally different Westin brand in Paris, France.....the second Westin does not qualify for the bonus credit ? Is that right ?
The terms and conditions do not make this very clear.

Yes, that is correct. Each brand can only earn one Elite Qualifying Night (EQN) during the promotion.
Each stay does qualify for 2500 points -- with consecutive nights at the same property counting as a single stay.

Thank goodness I'm an LTP member! This promotion is about the cheekiest thing Marriott can offer. Do I understand correctly that if I stay at a Marriott for 10 nights, I only get one extra night for my status, instead of 10 nights like in previous years? So I'd have to change hotels every day. Not only the hotel, also the brand.

You read that correctly. A 10-night stay gets 1 EQN. If you want 10 EQN, you need to stay at 10 brands.

What would make it so good is people would try and they'd get to about 33-35 and then figure out they have to catch a flight to africa or america or asia to get the last few and probably throw the towel in when they notice they've only got a week or two left until it's over. So your pool of people that could potentially complete this are unemployed wealthy guests that have unlimited time to travel who probably have better things to do than completely a 75 day challenge to get some points. So yeah, I think it would be a marketing win because sure, you'd get a few folks but then you'd also get a bunch of youtubers/social media folks probably.

Overall, I think it’s a fair promo. Could it be better? yes, but is it a fail? No
I feel like Marriott is saying, ok, we will give you some free nights, but you’re going to have to work a bit harder for them. That means that someone who stayed 38 nights in a cheap property last year during the promo won’t hit titanium automatically.
I don’t think that is unreasonable and it gives people with less time to take extended breaks a chance. In other words, if you can only do Friday or weekend stays then you can still bag some
extra nights and points. This of course depends on location as not every place in the word has a wide variety of brands.

Sorry, this promotion is not available
This could be because:
- You are not eligible for it
- It has expired
- You're trying to access a miles promotion and are a points-earner, or vice versa. If this is the case, you can easily change your earning preferences.
For the benefit of newcomers to Marriott global promotions, this happens to a proportion of members every time a promotion is launched. It's been like this for years, and every time it annoys the Bonvoy membership and creates extra work for forum admins. Marriott are aware but seem unable or unwilling to fix the issue.
Standard forum advice is "You are eligible, but need to call in to get registered"

Marriott programmers don't count the BRANDS
...and maybe Marriott doesn't want members to know the reality is 38 brands so MAXIMUM 38 x Double Nights ...38 is nowhere near 75 Promo nights ... but the Marketing seems to give the impression (particularly from prior years eg. 71 of 76 nights x Double Nights earned in prior years)

think "clusters", and optimize # brands whilst keeping transportation costs low / reduced to get between the brands.
When cost (transport to get to extran brands and so high prices of luxury properties) becomes too much , don't bother with the extra brands .
Afterwards, go for lower-cost, longer-stay, properties or later in the year
Although also consider very cold temperatures and go to more friendly climates, even before Promo starts eg. Toronto, Montreal, the Great-White North (brrrrrrr ...cold) , have a Mezcal or Margarita margarita girl

I mean yes but those were very different beasts... Turkish gave folks nearly 5 months to fly to 6 continents and SAS gave folks 3 and a bit months to fly 15 airlines. I think that's very different to 38 brands in 75 days of which quite a few are difficult to find and not to mention, marriott points are noticeably less valuable than airline miles.

also, although everyone wants to rush and get as far along as possible towards higher status Titanium (or Ambassador) "earlier" in the year, if you've max'ed the benefit-to-cost of attaining the extra brands,
use some of your points doing the 5n-for-4n points.
Envisioning using the 5-for-4n awards earlier in the year...you might think it wasteful , but you will keep the momentum going towards 50 Plat / 75 Titianium
I do not work for Marriott.
Do wish Marriott would bring Milestones starting at night 20 (waiting until 50th night doesn't cut it with Gen ? Z ? or Gen- Alpha or basically any Gen )... ofc Marriott being largest doesn't have to do anything ... but they will lose the people that realize need to wait until 50th night to get any milestone .... Hyatt #1 rocks on milestones, IHG is #2, Marriott is last
