I like the self-serve soda machines in the Clubs - when they work and are filled. I prefer the diet drinks, which are often empty, but they generate a lot of fizz - the small glasses are half full with soda and overrun with bubbles and filling them up can get a little messy.

I usually ask the bartender for a tall glass and fill it myself. I too am a diet drinker and it is almost impossible to get a cup without it going over the side on your hand--if it is available in the machine.

Okay, this is genius, why did I not think of this sooner?!

UA notified me about an hour in advance of boarding that my ORD-LAX flight wouldn't have wifi. I was counting on the wifi, so I had an extra couple hours of angst over not having wifi access for a 4-hour flight.

At least they warned you -- my experience has been more "shock and awe" -- they had no idea it wasn't working is what I get 95% of the time.... And I buy it EVERY flight for the past 15 years.... Given that I am still working being on a flight for 12+ hours with no wifi is a major stress inducing episode lol -- but the answer is comically the same always....

I have 6 itineraries booked, but the little red marker on UA home page says 5.

It maxes out at 10 for me, as someone with 50+ itineraries booked.

And then sometimes it displays only a random set of ten! Makes me think I'm leaving and never coming back!!

Sometimes the pilot (or FO) sounds like they don't actually know where we are going. Case in point my current flight, "We'll soon be starting our descent into uh... (few seconds pause) XYZ".

Um, hello?

Um, hello?
If it's 3pm, it must be Kansas City.

I can deal with that, as that's my usual situation too, but while things are light, causing much (trivial) distress!!!

The IVR (phone tree) is getting out of hand. It's like 5 different sections and 3-4 minutes before you have a chance at speaking with someone.

I don't want to text, I don't want to survey, I don't want to verify my identity....I want to talk to someone.

Two for today!

1) Why do I always have to have an English breakfast leaving CDG?

2) Why do I have to watch 3 ads to watch a movie when I pay $8k to fly Polaris?
