Seems odd that there are other comments that made that same complaint and weren't deleted, and were indeed engaged with. Perhaps there is another explanation.

Some bloggers delete all posts by certain readers. That is another possible explanation.

Is there any truth to it or just some random comment? With Tim Dunn and the random comment section now I can never tell what is real vs trolling on that site now but assume most are trolls.

Unfortunately, obsessed trolls ruin the comment section of many websites, and then have the audacity to complain about comment moderation. Its so sad to be so obsessed with a blogger.

IP addresses/email addresses can be blacklisted.

I noticed how people got banned for noticing his pageviews had crashed.

Then, the Delta bot and the engagement consultant 1990 got free rein. I applaud them for hiring people to manage PR, but its not actually how it works in these AI-driven times.

Interestingly, and this will please Ben (but not Ford), good content will once again rise to the top. That's the inevitable consequence of AI agents. They will, however, also filter out rage bait. In that light, I am not sure he's making the right call trying to pivot to Gary-esque drivel.

While I would never resort to that kind of language - I actually like Ben and remember his enthused-if-crazy weekends of back-and-forth flying - it's not hard to see the pattern. Thanks for alerting and confirming.

While these examples are easy and QED, I wonder what will happen in a year or two when it's not that easy to spot. I hope Ben takes this as a lesson and stops the fake engagement. He's far better than that.

Also scratched my head at that blog entry. He is a content creator who can afford such travel, so why try to justify?
