What Will AS Be Serving in First/Business Class on Your Flight? (2026)

01/07/2026 315 PSP-SEA

Chicken Tacos
Soft tortillas filled with seasoned chicken, roasted poblano peppers, and sweet pineapple, served with tomatillo salsa.

Just the right tasty kick for me at the time.

Greek Chicken Salad
Fire-braised chicken breast with couscous, raisins, mint, crispy chickpeas, cherry tomatoes, and green leaf lettuce, finished with Mediterranean citrus dressing. Due to a nationwide recall of fire-braised chicken, the chicken in the Greek Chicken Salad may be replaced with fire-braised turkey. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Just okay, my wife said, but did not regret her choice.

Chorizo Lasagna
Layers of pasta and savory chorizo in a roasted red pepper cream, paired with herb-roasted peppers and onions.

Both of us enjoyed it.

Alaska 615
Denver to Seattle

Tandoori Chicken Salad
Tandoori-spiced chicken over baby greens with roasted squash, quinoa, and pickled vegetables, served with creamy cilantro-lime dressing.

This flight had a scheduled departure of 822pm, and having already enjoyed a burger and a beer at Denver's FlyteCo Brew Pub, I wasn't particularly hungry. Turbulence over the first forty minutes delayed the inflight service, so when the meals were eventually served, this salad hit the spot. Very tasty!

ALASKA 174
Seattle to Fairbanks

Spanish Carnitas Egg Scramble
Creamy scrambled eggs topped with tender pork carnitas, refried pinto beans, queso fresco, and pico de gallo, finished with enchilada sauce and crispy tortilla strips.

Sat back in row 3 on a last minute upgrade, I was thankful that this entree was still available when the FA made it back to me. Tasty and filling, it was one of the better breakfast entrees I've been served of late. Bravo, Alaska!

I might add that there's been some ongoing concern over at the AS meals discussion thread about the possibility that the refried beans may result in some undesirable bodily emissions.

I can only speak for myself, but I didn't have any problems. The beans are not a large portion. They are there as - for me at least - a welcome and flavorful addition to the meal. They're not the main course. But what the heck - if you're especially sensitive to beans, either order a different entree or pack some Bean-o or Gas-X along.

Here's the Yellow Cauliflower Curry

Yellow Cauliflower Curry
Yellow Cauliflower Curry

I didn't care for it (wasn't an option I chose for myself, but a reject from my kid in the next seat.) It was prepared well with good texture for all the vegetables.

For what it's worth, here's the full breakfast menu from that flight.

Although the OP doesn't state how he ended up with the Breakfast Tacos dish (was he in 4F and it was all that was left?), I'd like to think that many of our European brethren could find something on this menu with which they'd be satisfied and - for a 1.5 hour flight - would compare favorably with whatever most European airlines might offer on a flight of similar duration.

Chorizo Breakfast Tacos Warm flour tortillas filled with chorizo, cage-free scrambled eggs, and cheese, served with tangy tomatillo salsa verde.

Cranberry & Granola Yogurt Bowl Creamy vanilla Greek yogurt topped with cranberry-ginger chutney and maple–pecan–ginger granola.

Breakfast Pastry & Fresh Fruit Warm cinnamon-apple pastry served with seasonal fresh seasonal fruit.

Fruit Plate with Granola & Soy Milk Freshly sliced grapefruit, oranges, apples, and grapes, served with Erin Baker’s granola and chilled vanilla soymilk.

Signature Fruit & Cheese Plate Beecher’s Flagship cheese, Tillamook sharp cheddar cheese, brie, Partners crackers, and a Seattle Chocolate truffle with fresh apples and grapes

These tacos were decently portioned and pretty tasty, as well. I would have liked some refried beans on the side though.

And just to head off the litany of fart comments at the pass - the amount of refried beans typically served with a US airline breakfast entree these days is unlikely to cause much - if any - gas.

Heck, I remember flying aboard a Mexicana DC-10 back in the late seventies when breakfast was Huevos Rancheros and something else. There was no discernible difference in air quality during the flight.

guajillo chicken (I noticed other pax having a ravioli dish, a cheeseburger, and the f&c plate)

this was a generous and tasty portion, although the skin on the chicken breast could have been much crisper and the cheese topping was fairly nondescript

I found the amount of hummus (?) excessive for the small quantity of vegetables, and I’m not a fan of the warm nuts being served alongside the entree

Tandoori Chicken Salad on a SkyWest flight. I was upgraded to row 4 prior to the start of boarding so I didnt have the opportunity to pre-order. FA came around and thanks me for being Titanium and lets me know that the Tandoori Chicken Salad was the last meal available. It was tasty but very tiny and no other snacks available so I was quite hungry when we arrived in Seattle.

Other choices onboard were F&C Platter, Tillamook Burger, Ancho Tofu Salad, and the Beef Chimichurri Sandwich.

Moderator Note

Several off-topic (AS tasting menu event, personal critiques and comments) posts have been deleted. I make an effort to move OT posts to the comments thread, but dealing with the increasing volume and frequency is getting time consuming, plus I'm grouchy today because I missed my first upgrade.

As a reminder, this is a menu posting datapoints thread only. Very limited comments added to the menu are fine, but commenting on comments will get nuked. Have at it in the comments thread.
