With a new head network planner what are the odds we will see more A350s at jfk irrespective of whether jfk-icn launches?

Do you think the leadership change will continue the LAX-East Asia expansion?

Hopefully with Joe Esposito replacing him, he will be the best around (no ones ever gonna keep him down!)

Interesting that Glen is bailing out prior to the rumored Delta One unbundling rollout.

I'm of the opinion more HND slots will happen at some point and Delta will give JFK-HND a go. I'd be shocked if that happens in the near term though.
All that said I believe JFK will be 787 city. Mostly -10s replacing the 767/330 and some -9s in there for the longhual flying I am talking about above. I think the A350 stays around DTW, LAX and SEA with SLC, MSP and ATL seeing a mix of all the above.
He has been wanting to leave for a long time. I am personally shocked Ed and Co were able to keep him around this long. I was personally hoping he would stick it out to 70 but I also understand wanting to step away. He has been doing a lot of what he does since before bankruptcy. Thats a very long time in this industry at one place with a lot of the same rolls.

Appears to be the status quo, as Glen considered Delta customers ham sandwiches back in 2014 "We've been starving, and sitting on a ham sandwich the whole time." Going to miss Glen's dry humor from the earning calls and public conferences.

Basically none. More Asia is a long way off due to lack of slots (HND) lack of frequency (PVG) and Russian airspace being closed. In 10 years, very well could be a A350 base but even then, I doubt it without China, India and Japan flying.

330/350 are separate at Delta and 350 flights at JFK don't automatically equal a base. Doubtful a 350 base at NYC is in the cards any time soon.
more of the same. (so yes)
Joe will do a great job IMO and it will be a lot of the same. Will be interesting to see who replaces Ed soonish.
